Instagram Reels was introduced in India in July 2020. You can find that the Reels tab has replaced the explore tab on Instagram. So now Instagram users in India have already started using the Reels. In this article, let us look at how to create, share, and watch reels.
Users can record and edit 15-second videos with visual and audio effects. You can easily become a creator and start sharing reels with your followers in the app. In the updated Instagram layout, you can find the Reels next to the home button that is present at the bottom left. In this tab, you can find many auto-playing reels. Another remarkable option is that you can also use the camera directly from this tab.
How to create Reels?
First, select Reels and then you can find a bunch of editing tools on your left side of the screen. Pick your favorite audio from the Instagram music library. You can also create a reel with your audio. Besides, you can also employ AR effects and timer options. A part of the short video can be slow down so this helps in creating slow-motion videos.
Sharing your Reels
You can share your reels after you have created them. If you have a private Instagram account you can share it only with your followers. Moreover, people cannot share your reels with others who don’t follow you. You can also share your reel as your story.
Watching Instagram Reels
You can find all the trending reels in the explore section. Enjoy watching it, like it, or share it with your friends. If your reel is featured then there will be more reach and many users will discover your content.
With TikTok banned in India, Instagram Reels are becoming more popular in India. Reels were already available in Germany, Brazil, and France.
