Use Google Maps to find your nearest COVID-19 vaccination center.

Many countries across the world have started vaccinations for COVID-19. Now, that vaccines are available, the next challenge is to provide the jab to as many people. With the coronavirus cases still rising in many countries, Google has stepped in to help the people. With the recent update in Google Maps, you can easily locate your nearest vaccination center. Vaccination sites have been added in Google Maps and Google Search.

People in the United States, Canada, India, France, Singapore, and Chile can use this new feature in Google Maps.

COVID-19 in India

The second coronavirus wave in India is severe. Currently, India reports more than 2-lakh cases per day. Many states are partially in lockdown and are urging many people to come forward and take vaccinations. As of now, all above 45 years are eligible to get their COVID-19 shot.

Use Google Maps to find the nearest vaccination center

Step1- First, turn ON the location on your smartphone.

Step2- Then, open the Google Maps app.

Step3- In the search box type ‘COVID-19 vaccination center’. You get to see all the nearby centers in your location.

Further, you can also check whether you can directly walk-in or not.

To speed up the race for the vaccine, Google has also decided to donate 2,50,000 vaccine doses to countries in need. If you are eligible to get the vaccination and wondering where to get your jab, then just use Google Maps. Earlier Google has also added a COVID-19 layer. It displays the number of cases in your locality. You can check this and navigate safely by avoiding areas with more corona cases.
